Q. How do I cancel my Microsoft .NET Passport?

A. Using your receiver, follow the steps listed below to close your Microsoft .NET Passport Account.

  1. From Web Home, using a keyboard or remote control, press the Option button
  2. Select go to
  3. Type in www.passport.net
  4. Select Go to Page
  5. Sign In to access your .NET Passport account
  6. The .NET Passport Home page will appear. Select Member Services
  7. Select the Close my .NET Passport account
  8. Select Contact Hotmail
  9. Sign In to access your Hotmail or MSN account
  10. Carefully read the Close Account information page
  11. Scroll to the bottom of the page, select Close My Account
  12. You will receive the following message: Your account has been closed and scheduled for deletion confirmation page
